Mission
Established in 2022, NHKP Baroque Chamber Orchestra is the professional baroque orchestra in Hong
Kong that are composed of al l Hong
Kong musicians.
The orchestra focused on presenting top
notch local soloists and bringing up
young local talents. Previous solo
artists include, Mr. Johnny Yu Sun (Solo
Viola, Tonhal le-Orchester Zürich), Mr.
WONG Sze Hang (former Associate
Concertmaster, Hong Kong Phi lharmonic
Orchestra), Dr. Joseph Kam (Faculty,
Chinese University of Hong Kong), Mr.
Vince Chua (Hong Kong Sinfonietta),
and rising artists Justin Pou (Viola) and
Abbie Chan (Viol in).
In the previous season, the orchestra
held 4 concerts at Hong Kong City Hal l
Concert Hal l, Recital Hal l, and Shatin
Town Hal l Auditorium and reached over
2000 audiences in 3 sold-out concerts
and 2 school outreach events, with
sponsorship from the Consulate General
of Italy in Hong Kong, the Consulate
General of Hungary in Hong Kong, and
